Visit to Cedar Croft Nurseries by St Tudy Pre-School
November 14th was a fun packed day for the children of the St Tudy Pre- School. They visited the Christmas trees at Cedar Croft Nurseries to see how these trees grow from seedlings into the wonderful range of Christmas trees available. Mark Orchard, the owner arranged a walk round for the Pre-Schoolers who had their “listening ears”.
Emma Sleeman, Chair of St Tudy Pre-School said:
“We had a very enjoyable day and would like to say a huge Thank You to Mark for being a wonderful host. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves out in the fresh air and the weather was kind. It was great to learn from Mark about the lifecycle from cones to seeds to fully grown Christmas trees and we have even planted our own so we can watch it grow over the years.
Thank you for their Christmas boxes, it was such a lovely thought to end a fantastic trip out, their little faces were smiling from ear to ear on the way back to Pre-School. We look forward to making this an annual event.”
